We employ persons qualified in the areas of Plant Operations, Maintenance, Transmission and Distribution Line Construction and Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Substation and Underground, Project Management, Information Technology and Management, Metering, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Training and Payroll, Customer Service and Chemistry.


The academic requirement for employment varies based on the job classification. However, standard minimum requirements are a high school diploma, a clean police certificate and proof of Bahamian citizenship.

Co-op Programmes

Grand Bahama Power Company sponsors students in conjunction with the Electrical Engineering Co-op programme at Kettering University, Flint, Michigan.
