This department is responsible for establishing and implementing procedures to address issues in the community that have a direct or indirect impact on the company image. The focus will be to improve the Company's image in the community to its customers and the public at large. Customer satisfaction levels will be primary measure of success.
Nature and Scope
- To set and implement strategies related to public relations of the company.
- Accountable for improvement in the Company's image in relations to Government-local and national, current and new customers and shareholders.
- Responsible to solve difficult customer service problems.
- Responsible for company's annual charity budget, Co-op student program. Summer student programs and represent the company on scholarship committees.
- Co-ordinate all public relations activities, community events and hurricane/storms related problems, special events and all sports sponsorship.
- Represents the company at schools and community civil organizations with special programs.
